Rusty was raised on the family farm that was homesteaded by his great-grandfather west of Steptoe Butte on t he rolling hills of the Palouse. Rusty advises clients in all aspects of elder law, estate planning and estate administration. He also has extensive knowledge in all areas of agricultural law, including estate and tax planning for family, family corporations, and partnerships. Rusty guides families dealing with farm and business issues during the transition of generations. He also advises families on farm real estate transaction planning. He also advises on planning and appeals dealing with Federal farm programs administered by FSA and NRCS. Because of his specialized experience, Rusty has been invited to speak at the Ag Expo in Spokane, Washington discussing topics pertaining to asset protection for the elderly, nursing home matters, estate planning, tax planning, and family farm business planning. He has also published various articles in Wheat Life. He has also appeared on panels discussing agriculture at EWU and has spoken at Farm Credit Services seminars. Rusty serves on several boards for Eastern Washington organizations. He is currently a trustee for the Washington Wheat Foundation, St. John Historical Society, Palouse Country Assisted Living and the WSU Land Legacy Council. He is a member of Lincoln, Adams, and Whitman County Bar Associations. Education

John’s practice includes agribusiness planning for farm families, corporations, LLC’s, and other entities. Alternative Energy leases have become a large part of his practice, and he enjoys working with clients through all phases of the process. John also focuses on the related transactional work including farm leases, land sales, and easements. He is involved with advising clients in areas of estate planning and probate, which includes gift and estate tax planning for his clients. He is a member of Adams, Lincoln, and Whitman County Bar Associations. John and his wife Kellie and their three small children keep them busy with all of their activities as well as being an elected Ritzville Hospital Commissioner and an active member of the Ritzville Lions Club and Ritzville Golf Association. In his free time he enjoys golf and pickleball. education

Mark’s practice includes agribusiness planning for farm families, corporations, LLC’s, and other farm entities. He also focuses on the related transactional work including farm leases, land sales, and easements. Mark’s practice naturally involves estate planning, probate, and Medicaid planning for his clients. Mark has developed a specialty in water law. He provides a broad spectrum of water law services to his clients including water right sales, and temporary and permanent changes. Mark has worked closely with Department of Ecology, several local water conservancy boards and has experience with appeals to the Pollution Control Hearings Board. He also advises on planning and appeals dealing with Federal farm programs administered by FCIC, FSA and NRCS. Mark has been an invited speaker at the Ag Expo in Spokane, Washington discussing topics pertaining to water law, Medicaid and estate planning, and agricultural tax planning. Mark also represents several municipalities including the Town of Odessa, Lincoln County Public Hospital District No. 1, the Odessa Public Development Authority, the Odessa Metropolitan Park District and the Lincoln County Public Utility District.
